Lets try this... an all paid for excursion out the Lachines with jet boat, Jet ski and camera crew to surf.

But why stop there... lets up this one notch. Part of the deal... take two guys who run a show called "Casse Cou" (the french version of Jackass) out to the waves, and throw them into the middle of it all.

Awesome... lets go!

So off we went, and boy was it fun. I got more rides on Mavericks than I've ever had, and longer too. I'm also starting to get this surfing thing (;-) and so I'm using the wave a lot better than before. In fact, I'm downright stoked.

And out two friends, Mathew et Ben... they did great. Both caught the wave at least once, didn't get too trashed, and Mathew even had a couple of attempts towing into Mavericks (not easy at all). He gave us some spectacular wipeouts in his attempts.

I also used the opportunity to shoot more footage for River Surfing 101... which will be ready this fall. And so, lets all pile into the boats, and enjoy the river surfing show. And a special thanks to Jaques Bachand for the jet ski, and Rafting St Laurent for the boat!
