Production Stinger
Well, her eit is.... finally... the production Stinger. For those that have seen or paddled the prototypes, this has obviously changed quite a bit and is a much better, and more versetile and performing boat.

This boat really is my "mental" evolution of my famous Disco design, though in a practical sense its nothng like the Disco in shape and form. But I wanted something that accomplish those same goals - something which has been basically neglected since I designed the Disco 5 years ago: a kayak that can win a rodeo on saturday, go creeking on Sunday and teach your best freind to paddle in on Monday. Easy and forgiving, super bounce for easy airs, great massive loops in holes, but still a smooth cartwheeler, and with all the rocker and blunt ends, a great creeker (for easy creeks of course).

We also wanted this to double up as a park and play boat for those 6'4"+ , 230lbs giants out there, and by all accounts we've accomplished just that!!! So far the reviews are raveing about how fun and easy this kayak is to paddle. Unlike the Fish and Squashtail, you just get in and go - no time needed to adapt and adjust (except of course to our totally unique and innovative outfitting system).

What has been surprising is the number of Women who have taken interest in this boat. In fact, we've had so many women interrested in the boat as a generalk purpose fun kayak that we finally considered making it available on special request in Pink (since we have been bombarded by women asking for more feminin colours, specifically pink).

So here are a bunch of pictures of the final production version of the boat. Feel free to email me with any questions you might have about the design, its use, availability, or the outfitting. - email Corran.
