The new Huracán
Huracan was a Mayan weather god of wind, storm, fire and one of the creator deities who participated in all three attempts at creating humanity. He also caused the Great Flood after the first humans angered the gods. He supposedly lived in the windy mists above the floodwaters and repeated "earth" until land came up from the seas.

His name is the source of the words hurricane and orcan (European windstorm).

Here now, are some photo's of the carving out the cockpit recess.

Because this kayak willt ake a "standard" style outfitting - that is to say "bolt in thigh braces", the cockpit size and shape is different from what has come before from Dragorossi. None the less, the way I make the cockpit remains much the same, even if the shape is different.

By the way, the dimentions are: Length 250cm, Width 64cm and Volume L. Paddler weight range (for PEAK performance ) is about 160lbs to 210lbs. Obviously, a good 20lbs each way will also do just fine.
