More of Mirco's Shots
Going out to the Lachines, and Habitat, Mirco has been shooting away, and we have some great shots.


Remember, these are really compressed jpg photo's and the colours and richness of the shots have been lost to a large degree.

Here, Christine is looking ripped as she surfs Big Joe.

We then went down to Habitat and I got to try out my brand new 5'8" x 17 3/4" Squaretail Hipsquash I'm calling a "Maverick" (5x 4WFS fins - here I'm running it as a Quad Fin). It's no where near as fast or responsive as my 5'9" Squaretail, but its really near feeling and is super forgiving. I designed this board specifically for my weight in Mavericks, wanting the "ultimate" machine for that wave.
I was really able to charge all ove rthe wave, turing more of the center of the board than my Squaretail which turns more off the tail.

I then jumped back onto my 5'9" Squaretail to take it for a spin.... OOOOHHHH FAST. Low entry rocker, low tail rocker, high curve to the template... this thing was MADE for Habitat and it kills this wave.
