Mexico 2006/2007 #3
The whole area where we aere was jsut too awesome.... warm all the time, not a drop of rain once the entire 6 weeks. We met some awesome people, rode some great waves.... it was just all too good to be true.

I think I fried my rettina looking into the sun in the lineup, but still, its hard not to because its so pretty out there.

A roudy lot to say the least, they were in mexico on a 3 month+ tour to avoid life, the universe and everything. Luke is a good surfer and well known artist, and the two of us managed to get some awesome waves in uncrowded secluded spots.

As the days went on, so Luke and Elli, who were NOT a couple, got closer and closer. They denied it of course... (and still were when this shot was taken), but everyone else at the Buona Onda knew it was jsut a matter of time. So... like good civil, respecting people, we took out a pool on picking the night that they would seal the deal. This ranged from "tonight" (a logical conclusion to anyone who saw them like this) to "new Years eve" etc. I picked "the night before we leave (Jan 8).

Lo and behold.... they sealed the deal on the night of Jan 8! I'm a winner!!!!!
