Vanity can be a beautiful thing. For Corran motivation is a derivative of vanity. He has a self-described obsessive-compulsive nature that drives him to be the best at what he does. It is that vanity that motivates him to accomplish any adventure, be it a small task or a valiant undertaking. Mediocrity is not acceptable.

Corran pushes himself beyond any normal standards to achieve that which has not been conceived. His persistence and determination is what separates him from every other dreamer. It is not difficult to dream of greatness, just difficult to achieve it.

Too often society settles for standards set by faceless others. In every lifetime there will be a handful of people who will continue to challenge those standards.
