 2Imagine is the worlds first, and largest river surfing surf school. The techniques used for teaching river surfing were developed by 2Imagine's founder Corran Addison, and were based on his experience as an Olympic whitewater kayaker, combined with over 2 decades ocean and river surfing experience. Corran was the first person to surf Montréal’s river waves, and has surfed river and ocean waves on every continent in the world.

 The instructional DVD, River Surfing 101, produced in conjunction with the 2Imagine surf school, is the standard used internationally for teaching river surfing today.

Who can surf?

Anyone can surf. Our specialty is teaching people who have no surfing experience at all, and not just taking you out for a good time, but actually getting you surfing. The only pre-requisite is that you be comfortable in water, and can swim a few swimming pool lengths easily.

River Surfing is different enough from Ocean Surfing to where ocean surfing intermediates should take the beginner river surfing class. Everything from swimming in currents and rapids, lining up for the wave, moving about the wave and the specific skills of river wave surfing is different enough to where only advanced ocean surfers are effectively able to learn on their own without major frustration.
