| This Squashtail is designed to be super manouverable. This is its primary goal. Its continuous nose rocker and gradual template allow you to edge this board early and drive it hard through the turn, railing from tip to tail. You can hit the lip, or foam pile at any angle, and the nose never catches, allowing you to perform progressive manouvers easilly. The template through the tail is radical, and sweeps in fast making the board literally snap through turns on the back foot. A Quad Fin or V6 set up adds to the speed that this board can hook a turn, and reducing the trailing fins size will make learning moves like tail slides and 360 spins much easier, while still giving you directional control in all but the steepist walled out conditions. |
