Beginners generally use longboards, or retro Fish's because of the boards easy ability to catch the waves and make the sections. Intermediates would opt for a more modern Fish shape, or a Roundtail style design, while more advanced surfers often prefer the performance of more aggressive Squashtails. Of course, for those big, fast jacked up waves, a mini gun Pintail is always needed.

Almost all Imagine Ocean boards have a Tri Fin Thruster set-up, but from time to time we get a request for a quad fin on Squashtails and Modern and Retro Fish shapes.
