| Imagine Polyester Surfboards are custom shaped by kayak and surfboard designer Corran Addison, who has been shaping for over 15 years. The boards are shaped using Clark Foam surfboard blanks and Polyester Resign for the construction. Clark Foam was the supplier of more than 90% of all surfboard foam in North America before they were shut down in December 2005.
Each board is shaped to the users specifications - their size, riding ability, and for where the board is going to be used, whether that be River Waves (his speciality), ocean waves (his roots) or crossover boards that do both. What's unique about Imagine is the vast range of different construction methods offered, from standard lightweight 4oz fibreglass laminates, or 14oz rail fiberglass boards (extra strong rails for the river environment) to epoxy glass and carbon fiber (the most resistant to the harsh and abusive river environment). The following pages of different boards are just a few of the boards that have been shaped at Imagine, and represent only a general idea of the possibilities when considering a custom Imagine Surfboard, no matter what your skill or style is. |
